Web apps & tours — overview

The Web apps and tours category is where operators build and maintain guest-facing browser experiences. It brings together performance analytics, landing page authoring, tour authoring, reusable location data, offers, contact forms, site plans, questions, galleries, and FAQs.

Most items require landing-page, tour, or related permissions. Analytics can also appear for assigned tour guides so field staff can review performance without becoming full administrators.

Landing pages versus tiles: A landing page is the published guest shell; tiles are ordered modules editors attach (calendars, chats, quizzes, nested mini-apps). Product terminology and tile-by-tile notes live in /product/landing-pages-and-tiles.

Operational model

The group works as one toolbox:

  • Landing pages publish the guest web app.
  • Tiles decide what guests can open or do inside that web app.
  • Tours provide structured routes, stops, audio, and guide flows.
  • Places, place groups, and site plans supply reusable maps and orientation content.
  • Offers, contact forms, questions, FAQs, and galleries feed modules landing pages surface.
  • Analytics shows adoption and engagement.

When troubleshooting, start from the guest-facing symptom and walk backward through publishing state, tile configuration, linked records, and permissions.
