Day plans and itinerary guides

Guides brings together tours and day plans. Day-plan authoring is organization-scoped at /organizations/:id/dayplans; the shared Guides entry is /organizations/:id/guides.

A published day plan is a reusable itinerary. A guest can acquire it and choose when to place its activities in a personal calendar. This differs from an event with fixed dates and its own participant list.

Create an itinerary

  1. Open Guides and choose the appropriate guide or day-plan creation action.
  2. Enter a name and the available guide type. In General, maintain the destination, description, images, categories and validity.
  3. Open Plan to add days and arrange places, tours, events, experiences, offers or custom activities.
  4. Review activity times, duration, travel context and availability. Fixed-date activities still need valid dates even when the itinerary itself is reusable.
  5. Save, then preview the guest experience before publication.

Single-day guide types limit the itinerary to one day. Other supported types can contain multiple days. Walking guides can be used without a fixed trip date; guests can start immediately or add them to a plan.

Price and publish

Use Price calculation to review the itinerary's price and included offers. Resolve warnings about unavailable content, partner confirmation or commercial readiness before publishing a paid itinerary.

An always-valid itinerary and one restricted to a date range have different availability. Review the validity alongside each included activity's opening hours or fixed dates. A published itinerary does not make an unavailable event or offer bookable.

Keep the guide in draft while preparing it. Use the publication controls and guest preview to verify visibility, translations, price and checkout. Use Share for the generated link and QR code.

After a guest acquires a day plan

Guests find acquired guides in My Visit and can place them into their calendar through the planning flow. Their scheduled instance is distinct from the reusable organization guide. Confirm both the purchase and the selected planning dates when supporting missing activities.

Saving or bookmarking a guide is not a purchase. Placing an activity in a calendar is not a separate booking or a guarantee of admission.
