Planning and My Visit

The guest app connects discovery, a personal trip calendar and My Visit. These serve different tasks: discovery finds content, the calendar places activities in time, and My Visit brings together saved or acquired content.

Save and revisit

Save a place, tour, event, experience, offer or day plan from its details or available save action. Open My Visit to find the relevant saved or purchased section. Sign in when a flow requires an account and use the same account that made the purchase.

A bookmark does not grant paid access. Purchased guides, tickets and other acquired content retain their own order and access status.

Arrange a day

  1. Open the trip calendar and select a day.
  2. Add an activity from discovery, saved entries or the activity picker, or create a custom activity.
  3. Select the appropriate personal plan or acquired guide instance.
  4. Review the date, timezone, start/end times, duration and any availability warning.
  5. Save and inspect the resulting timeline. Activities can be moved or removed through their available actions.

Calendar placement does not purchase a ticket, book an external activity or guarantee availability. Open the activity's details to complete any required booking or purchase.

Undated walking guides can start immediately or be placed into a trip. Fixed-date events retain their event dates. Review the underlying activity when a move would conflict with its schedule.

Use the import action to paste a supported link. Review the resolved activity before adding it. If several candidates are offered, select the intended result. If a place cannot be resolved, use the available search or manual-entry fields.

Confirm the name, location, date, times, notes and destination plan. Imported suggestions are not automatically confirmed bookings. An unresolved link should be corrected or entered manually rather than assumed to be the right activity.

Plan an acquired day plan

After a successful acquisition, open the guide in My Visit and use its planning action. Select an eligible start date and time, then review the activities and any fixed-date or availability constraints.

The scheduled instance belongs to the guest's calendar; the reusable guide remains the organization's published content. If access is missing, check acquisition status before repeating checkout.

Calendar settings and subscription

Open calendar settings from the date/calendar controls to adjust the visible day's start and end times and find the subscription link. The subscription is a read-only feed for a calendar provider such as Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.

Use the provider instructions shown in the app to subscribe to the URL. Subscribing lets the provider refresh the feed; importing a downloaded snapshot is a one-time copy. Refresh timing is controlled by the calendar provider, so changes may not appear immediately.

Keep the feed URL private: anyone with that link may be able to read the activities it exposes. A subscribed calendar does not write changes back into Scoutello.

Support checks

Confirm the account, selected day and timezone, personal plan or guide instance, saved versus purchased state and the activity's underlying date. For delayed external-calendar updates, compare Scoutello's current timeline with the provider's refresh state.
