Tours

Where to find it: Web apps and tours → Tours under the active organization.

Access requires landing page and/or tour visibility (list or read), or appropriate guide assignments where your workspace grants partial navigation.

See /product/tours for conceptual depth.

List experience

The table shows preview imagery, name, creator presentation (person or organization), tour type, stop count, visibility (public or private), and created date.

Actions:

  • Create opens the guided setup flow when permissions allow.
  • Visit opens the guest tour using the dashboard link intended for demos—often with virtual touring-friendly defaults.
  • Duplicate copies structure for safe experimentation.
  • Delete appears only when policy permits—typically for creators or organization admins.

Filters: Some teams narrow the list to tours tied to assigned contacts; toggle reflects personal preference when available.

Creation flow

Provide a name, pick outdoor, indoor, or fixed, optionally attach a starter document when beta ingestion is enabled, and assign contacts when assignments drive visibility.

After creation you land in the tour editor.

Detail editor

Canonical field explanations live in /product/tours/tour-authoring. Operators usually work through:

Metadata and monetization

Visibility, multilingual descriptions, pricing tier when payments are configured, linked landing page, CRM assignments, indoor overview behavior, meeting geography, narrative introduction and closing blocks, and optional end screen modules.

Route and itinerary

  1. Confirm stop ordering matches the story arc.
  2. For outdoor tours, verify preview maps and directions after substantive edits; adjust illustrative transition paths when marketing wants stylized segments.
  3. For indoor tours, open the site plan attachment and pin library stops or craft new ones on floor imagery.
  4. Manage per-stop options such as radius, optional placement, or hiding steps from guest numbering.

Sharing and assistants

Sharing surfaces typically unlock once enough stops exist to preview meaningfully.

Where assistant features are enabled, upload curated reference snippets so guest answers stay aligned with published content.

Analytics

Use in-product analytics tabs for run counts, funnel views, and qualitative signals—definitions follow whatever date ranges the dashboard exposes.

Permissions snapshot

Effective tour capabilities combine tour scopes with guide-oriented allowances similar to events. When unsure, follow /product/tours/support-playbook.
