Web apps

Web apps are created and maintained from Web-Apps in the active organization.

Create and publish a web app​

  1. Open Web-Apps.
  2. Select Actions and then Create.
  3. Enter Name and choose a Visibility. Draft keeps the web app inside the dashboard; Public publishes it.
  4. Select Create. In the opened web app, use Configuration to add the description, images, colors, and other visible settings.
  5. Select Add tile to add content such as places, tours, events, questions, or frequently asked questions. Arrange the tiles in the desired order.
  6. Select Preview while editing or Visit at the top of the page to check the guest view.
  7. When everything is ready, choose Public under Visibility and select Save.

Restrict access and invite guests​

  1. Open the web app and select Configuration.
  2. Set Visibility to Private.
  3. Enable Restrict access to selected contacts.
  4. Under Contacts with access, open Manage Access Contacts, select the contacts who may open the web app, and save the access selection.
  5. For newly added contacts, the following access dialog offers Send invitation emails. Keep that option selected only when the invitations should actually be sent, then confirm the dialog.

Contacts need an email address before an invitation can be sent. Granting access and sending an invitation are separate steps. Assigned contacts in the configuration is a separate responsibility assignment; it does not replace the allowed-access selection.

Reuse an existing place​

First create the location under Places. In a web app, open Configuration, select Add tile, choose the tile for places, and select the saved place. Use Preview before saving or publishing.

Visibility choices​

  • Draft: visible only while editing in the dashboard.
  • Private: available through direct access; it can additionally be limited to selected contacts.
  • Internal: intended for people with organization access.
  • Public: published for the guest view.

Open Web-Apps for page authoring and use Add tile for its content blocks. Existing landing-page URLs remain valid.
